Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Data Analytics Discipline Leader to guide cross-functional practice areas and collaborate with the firm’s digital teams to advance environmental data analytics capabilities across client projects.

You will help grow a team of analytics practitioners, shape innovation investments, and engage with marketing, sales and clients to deliver analytics-driven environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Professional engineering (PE) license or registration as a Licensed Professional Geologist or professional scientist registration/certification or Master’s degree in science or related discipline.
• Extensive understanding of environmental analytics.
• Familiarity with data analytics and statistics; Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist CDM Smith’s Digital teams in evaluating data analytics technologies and platforms to analyze environmental data across applications.
• Work with sales teams and with Trinnex on technical sales, design, and delivery of analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with local, national, and international technical teams.
• Leverage research to expand capabilities in environmental services.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives related to environmental data analytics.
• Coordinate and gather ideas with discipline leaders and SMEs for innovation investments.
