Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Analytics Discipline Leader to advance data analytics capabilities across environmental services. You will collaborate with digital teams, SMEs, and the environmental data analytics group to drive innovation and provide analytics-driven solutions for clients.

The role includes managing IP, guiding R&D investments, and building a team of practitioners to expand CDM Smith’s environmental analytics offerings globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• 12 years of related experience are expected.
• Experience with environmental analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Digital teams in evaluating data analytics technologies and platforms for environmental data.
• Collaborate with sales teams and Trinnex on technical sales, design, and delivery of analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with local, national, and international technical teams.
• Work across multiple technical practice areas to leverage environmental data analytics research and development.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives related to environmental data analytics.
• Engage with discipline leaders and SMEs to gather ideas and assess needs for innovation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmental solutions for clients.
• Develop processes to evaluate ideas and initiatives for potential investment in analytics tools and technologies.
• Manage IP and R&D investments and connect them to the firm’s processes overseeing IP protection and digital investment.
• Grow environmental data analytics practitioners to deliver services for a variety of clients.
• Identify conferences and activities to enhance technical visibility and promote capabilities.
• Track opportunities and client relationships for analytics services.
