ERM is a global leader in sustainability consulting, and this Consulting Associate role in Northern California focuses on site investigation and remediation projects that protect communities and ecosystems.

Based in Sacramento, you will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality technical solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance remediation systems while supporting clients in meeting sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• As a Consulting Associate you hold a BS in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Recent graduate to 3 years of relevant experience with interest in field assignments.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health and Safety protocols.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently across a large geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigation and remediation projects with high-quality technical solutions.
• Assist in designing and implementing remediation systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve environmental challenges.
• Perform field work including sampling, drilling, well installation, and system operation/maintenance.
• Prepare regulatory reports and supporting figures/exhibits.
