Job summary

ERM is seeking an entry-level Consulting Associate across Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist tracks based in Atlanta. You will support site investigations, remediation, compliance, and hazardous waste management on diverse projects.

The role offers opportunities to work with industry experts, travel across the United States, and develop skills in multiple environmental disciplines while contributing to meaningful environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent experience.
• Recent graduate up to 1 year of experience.
• Willingness to conduct field work and travel as needed.
• Commitment to health and safety protocols; strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work including sampling and site investigations.
• Assist groundwater and wastewater system monitoring.
• Perform Phase I/II environmental assessments for property transactions.
• Compile data and assist in report preparation.
• Prepare permits and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, storm water, and wastewater.
