Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a motivated Construction Administrator to join our Infrastructure Construction team in Savannah, GA. This full-time role supports project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and site inspections to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of environmental construction administration/management, a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental construction administration/management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and other project-related documents.
• Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, meetings, and approvals.
• Assist in the preparation of project progress reports and financial documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Act as a liaison between the project team, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues in a timely manner.
• Review and approve contractor work plans and schedules.
• Document and report on-site observations, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction activities.
