Qualifications

• Associate degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 1+ years' experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the facility's Wastewater Treatment System.
• Calibrate control instrumentation and procure treatment plant supplies.
• Schedule residual waste and manage laboratory data and analyses.
• Prepare and submit discharge monitoring reports and regulatory reporting.
• Schedule maintenance for the treatment system.
• Inspect the facility and coordinate cleanup/remediation efforts.
• Provide training on waste handling, chemical hazards, and pollution prevention.
• Direct hourly personnel in environmentally related tasks as needed.
