Plumino Precision Fermentation USA, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring environmental compliance, optimizing wastewater treatment processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to monitor performance, maintain records, and implement cost-saving environmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production-line environmental work plans aligned with annual priorities and budget goals.
• Conduct routine environmental compliance inspections in production areas.
• Identify environmental risks, monitor corrective actions, and document findings.
• Inspect environmental protection equipment and systems for reliable performance and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Review wastewater treatment process parameters to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs and improve environmental performance.
• Maintain accurate environmental records and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
