Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Inspector to perform daily and weekly environmental inspections across our shipyard operations.

Under supervision of Environmental Manager, you will help ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental permits, and support production to minimize environmental risk. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with several years of environmental work experience; knowledge of ship terminology and regulations is

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus three years of environmental work experience.
• Knowledge of ship terminology and environmental regulations.
• Ability to read and comprehend written, or diagram forms or plans.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of safe operation and use of hand and power tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily and weekly environmental inspections of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental permits and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work with minimal supervision and carry out duties as instructed.
• Adapt to flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
