Job summary

Idahoan Foods, LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician to support environmental and sustainability programs. You will implement sampling plans, ensure regulatory compliance, collect and analyze samples, and train staff within a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a degree in Earth Sciences, Biology, Engineering, or related fields, plus strong math and data skills. Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Degree in Earth Sciences, Biology, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
Intermediate math skills required – algebra, geometry, and statistical analysis.
State wastewater treatment, land application, and/or drinking water operator license preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Effective oral and written communication; interpret and enforce regulatory requirements.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; team player and adaptable.

Responsibilities

Sample plans and improvements for local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
Assist with environmental programs: wastewater, drinking water, hazardous materials, air quality, stormwater.
Prepare draft regulatory reports and ensure timely data collection and analysis.
Deliver awareness training to Idahoan team members and ensure data quality.
