Job summary

The City of Redding is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead environmental programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You will supervise staff, coordinate with City engineers and other directors, and manage detention and reporting for storm water and environmental permits.

Responsibilities include preparing environmental documents, liaising with agencies, and guiding mitigation and monitoring plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, biology or related field.
• At least four years of supervisory/managerial experience in environmental programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage CEQA/NEPA documentation for City projects.
• Oversee Storm Water Management Program and permit compliance.
• Review and prepare environmental permits and approvals.
• Represent City with external agencies and organize community input.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with other departments.
