Job summary

Circle K is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support the Environmental Shared Services (ESS) group with environmental compliance tasks for underground storage tank (UST) systems within the assigned Business Unit. The role involves data entry, invoicing, reporting, and coordination of regulatory activities.

Under supervision, you will maintain databases, monitor release detection equipment, process invoices, and assist with contractor/vendor work orders.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn and navigate databases and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Maintains environmental databases and systems via data collection, entry, and reporting.
Coordinates ESS invoice processing and payments with vendors and internal platforms.
Supports the Environmental Compliance Supervisor and ESS group with information per company policies.
Compiles and communicates environmental work to teams and contractors/vendors.
Assists in monitoring, tracking, and processing of regulations, inspections, testing, and reports.
Builds positive working relationships with supervisory staff and external partners.
Performs other duties as assigned.
