Job summary

Dudek, a national environmental consulting firm, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist I in Riverside County. You will support regulatory research, field monitoring, data collection, and reporting to ensure project adherence to environmental laws and stormwater requirements.

Under supervision of senior staff, you will inspect construction sites for CGP/NPDES compliance, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate with regulatory agencies and field teams to maintain compliant

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in environmental compliance, stormwater inspections, regulatory assessments, or permitting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related life sciences field.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capable of field work and walking on difficult terrain.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and interpreting environmental regulations and policies to support project compliance.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments to monitor environmental conditions and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Prepare technical reports, impact assessments, and compliance audits.
• Maintain, organize, and prepare environmental records, monitoring/inspection logs, and field notes.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, project managers, and field teams to ensure smooth compliance workflows.
