Dudek is seeking a self-motivated Storm Water Inspector to support inspections and compliance with the California Construction General Permit. This field role focuses on ensuring SWPPP adherence, collecting samples, and coordinating with project teams across sites.

Ideal candidates hold a QSD certification and have experience with BMPs, NPDES regulations, and field sampling. Must be able to work outdoors on varied terrain and pass pre-employment screenings.

Formación

• A QSP/QSD certification is required.
• Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet skills.
• Familiarity with Best Management Practice (BMP) and NPDES regulation knowledge.
• Familiarity with construction job sites and plans.
• Familiarity with field sampling equipment.
• Capable of field work and walking on difficult terrain.
• Must meet company defined, pre-employment, random, and annual alcohol/drug screen*
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine 30-day QSD, semi-annual QSD, pre-storm, storm event, and post-storm inspections as specified in the SWPPP.
• Trouble-shoot site compliance and BMP issues.
• Communicate site/BMP issues and inspection results with construction and client personnel.
• Collect storm water and non-storm water samples.
• Conduct field analyses of samples, as needed.
• Verify site compliance with SWPPP, maps and permit conditions.
• Complete, maintain and submit SWPPP reporting forms.
• Advise project management of BMP implementation and other compliance issues.
• Facilitate and lead SWPPP-related training and other relevant communications for project staff.
