Job summary

The City of Roseville Environmental Utilities is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist I/II to support water quality and regulatory compliance across the Environmental Utilities Department. The role involves ensuring adherence to NPDES permits and water compliance standards, conducting inspections, sampling, analysis, reporting, and collaborating to implement best practices that maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science or a closely related field.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
• Two years of regulatory compliance enforcement experience for Environmental Compliance Specialist II; none required for I.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry/physics/environmental science or related field
