Job summary

August Mack Environmental is seeking a Compliance Specialist in Indianapolis to support compliance services, including field inspections, technical reporting, and plan preparation. This learning position works closely with Compliance Managers and Senior Technical Managers to master regulatory programs under USEPA, OSHA, and state agencies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and timely delivery, with a 9-5 ET schedule and potential travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Learn regulations and develop strategies to ensure client compliance.
• Complete projects under guidance to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Maintain project momentum and address questions or information gaps.
• Prepare compliance reports and regulatory submissions.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Learn existing regulations and develop strategies to ensure client compliance.
• Complete assigned projects under the guidance of a Compliance Manager, Senior Technical Manager or Compliance Consultant to achieve objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure project kickoff meetings are completed and maintain project momentum by communicating with the team.
• Communicate with clients and team about project status and regulatory issues.
• Prepare compliance reports, update plans, conduct sampling activities, and related tasks.
