Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence with Federal, State, and Local environmental requirements for our limestone quarries and lime manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with site operations to implement effective programs and tools for compliance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• BS engineering degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Natural Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of industrial environment experience.
• Three (3) years in lime, cement, mining or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental needs for limestone quarries and lime manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate with operating sites to develop compliance programs and tools.
• Lead environmental sampling and monitoring data collection and analysis as required.
• Maintain regulatory permits and records and coordinate with inspectors and regulators.
