Job summary

Gulfshoresal in College Station, TX, seeks an Environmental Compliance & Recycling Manager to oversee environmental programs for the Public Works Department. The role coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and leads audits of records, databases, and facilities.

You will supervise Public Works Programs & Events staff and interns. You will also manage recycling programs and contracts, monitor waste diversion, and help communicate regulatory requirements to staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years' environmental compliance experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and public speaking skills.
• Valid Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Establish schedules to track and revise compliance plans and manage regulatory documentation.
• Develop processes for regulatory training, licensing, and safety requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate timely renewals and reports.
• Coordinate data collection, logs, and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Administer recycling programs and contracts; liaise with agencies.
• Supervise department staff and assist leadership with special projects.
