Qualifications

• Investigate complaints relating to noise, smoke, odour, light pollution and other statutory nuisances.
• Carry out inspections of premises to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
• Monitor and assess environmental conditions including air quality and pollution incidents.
• Gather evidence, prepare reports and support enforcement actions as needed.
• Provide environmental health advice to businesses, councillors and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor air quality, pollution incidents and contaminated land issues.

• Liaise with Environment Agency, Public Health teams, emergency services and neighbours.
