Zusammenfassung

EnSafe Inc. is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our Houston, TX office. You will work on diverse regulatory compliance and permitting projects for industrial clients across the United States, influencing program development and client solutions.

The role emphasizes managing multi-media compliance programs, directing audits, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced consulting environment. Relocation assistance may be awarded.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of environmental compliance experience; consulting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations including RCRA, CAA, CWA, and EPCRA.
• Ability to interpret and navigate complex environmental regulations and apply requirements to industrial operations.
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs across multiple regulatory media (air, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, EPCRA).
• Experience preparing environmental compliance reports, plans, permits, and regulatory submissions.
• Project management experience with scopes of work, cost proposals, schedules, and multiple projects.
• Strong consulting, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Seller-doer mindset with proven client engagement and business development.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for environmental services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate across teams.
• High professionalism, accountability, and client service orientation.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Valid U.S. drivers license.

Aufgaben

• Prepare environmental compliance reports in line with local, state, and federal regulations (RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA).
• Conduct audits and inspections of industrial facilities to assess regulatory compliance and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and HWCPs as needed.
• Develop environmental permitting and compliance programs for air, water, stormwater, wastewater, and EPCRA reporting.
• Assist clients with permitting, regulatory interpretation, and implementation of compliance programs.
• Navigate and interpret regulations to provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Perform labor and material cost estimating to support proposals and engagements.
• Manage environmental compliance projects including scope, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
• Mentor and provide technical support to junior staff.
• Support proposals, cost estimating, and business development activities.
• Develop and expand market connections and client relationships for growth.
