Job summary

The AES Eagle Valley Generating Station in Martinsville, Indiana seeks a Senior Environmental Analyst to lead compliance efforts and support regulatory reporting.

You will collaborate with operations, manage environmental data, assist audits, and drive continuous improvement across the site to meet federal, state, local, and AES requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of environmental compliance experience in regulated settings.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to industrial operations.
• Experience in air, water, waste, and multi-media compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permit conditions, and site obligations at AES Eagle Valley generating stations.
• Collect, verify, manage, and analyze environmental data for regulatory reports, permits, inspections, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of inspections, tests, records, and submittals.
• Maintain the AES Environmental Management System and site objectives; track audits and corrective actions.
• Provide compliance guidance, training, and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, leadership, and contractors.
• Review data to identify permit deviations, compliance trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support permitting efforts and coordinate with subject matter experts on rulemaking and impact evaluations.
• Develop and track site environmental budgets and integrate requirements into planning.
