GDH is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist IV to lead and translate environmental requirements across dynamic power infrastructure projects from development through operations. You will develop plans, manage obligations, and collaborate with project teams to maintain regulatory adherence.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with office and remote work, and requires extensive experience in compliance management for large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or related field required.
• Minimum eight years of diverse environmental experience including compliance management for energy or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to translate permit conditions into actionable tasks and monitor regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve environmental compliance processes, procedures, plans, and tools.
• Interpret permit conditions, regulatory requirements, and commitments into clear obligations.
• Coordinate compliance planning, scheduling, and cost estimation including inspections and reporting.
• Work with project teams, contractors, and field personnel to verify compliance performance.
• Lead or support programs with significant risks, ensuring adherence to permits.
• Support agency coordination, audits, and investigations; transition duties to operations.
• Verify inspections, monitoring, documentation, and corrective actions are completed on schedule.
• Assist in resolving field issues and develop corrective actions for gaps.
• Develop project-specific compliance plans and tools.
• Engage stakeholders and maintain communication with regulators and teams.
