Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Compliance Supervisor to lead field staff enforcing multiple Montgomery County environmental laws across air, water, noise, and hazardous materials. The ideal candidate has five years of environmental health enforcement experience, a Bachelor's degree, Maryland EHS registration, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of experience in environmental health investigatory/enforcement work after registration.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Registration as an Environmental Health Specialist in Maryland.
• Valid Class C driver’s license and ability to travel across the County.

Aufgaben

• Manage environmental compliance operations, including case intake, routing, and legally defensible resolution of complaints.
• Supervise environmental compliance staff, providing leadership and performance management.
• Coordinate activities with DPS, DOT, DGS, OEMHS, DHCA, FRS, MC Police, and other agencies.
• Serve as DEP’s liaison to the County Attorney on enforcement matters (citations, fines, orders).
• Support stormwater obligations by assisting with illicit discharge investigations and MS4 reporting.
• Manage equipment, training, and resources for field operations.
