Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) invites applications for a field-focused compliance and enforcement role in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. You will perform routine technical work in air, water, or waste pollution, conduct inspections, and prepare detailed reports documenting on-site conditions and any violations.

You will provide technical guidance to the public and regulated entities, assist with sample collection and analysis, and travel about half the time to fulfill duties in

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in natural/physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field, OR four years of full-time environmental activity experience.
• Security or integrity of critical infrastructure is a requirement to be hired and to continue employment with TCEQ.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine technical work in air, water, or waste pollution for the Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Office.
• Conduct environmental regulatory inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations; prepare reports documenting field activities, conditions, and violations; notify regulated entities and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance to the public, regulated community, and other groups regarding applicable regulations.
• Assist with collecting and analyzing environmental samples.
