The City of Oak Ridge TN seeks an Environmental Compliance Inspector to perform inspections of industrial and stormwater facilities, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. You will support the Environmental Compliance Manager by implementing plans, maintaining records, and coordinating with developers and the public.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience, plus certifications in cross-connection control and erosion
Qualificações
- Bachelor’s degree with two years’ related stormwater/regulatory experience.
- Cross Connection Control Basic certification within 1 year of hire.
- TN Fundamentals of Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Level 1 within 1 year of hire.
Responsabilidades
- Inspect industrial facilities for stormwater and pretreatment compliance.
- Inspect facilities for regulatory compliance under the city’s programs.
- Coordinate inspections with industries, developers, and contractors.
- Respond to drainage and flooding complaints and maintain related records.
