Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Environmental Compliance Inspector in the Burbank area to support water and wastewater regulatory programs. You will perform inspections, collect samples, prepare documentation, and interact with agencies to ensure compliance.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work various shifts. Training toward Grade I certification may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record desirable.
• Environmental Compliance Inspector Grade I desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sample wastewater/industrial facilities to verify compliance.
• Set samplers and use measurement equipment; ensure safe practices.
• Collect and preserve samples; complete paperwork and labels.
• Input inspections into pretreatment databases; generate reports.
• Respond to complaints about discharges and hazardous materials.
• Work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call.
• Conduct field tests and sampling for wastewater and stormwater.
• Perform site inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
• Investigate violations related to stormwater and wastewater.
• Coordinate with agencies and explain regulations.
• Maintain equipment and assist with regulatory submissions.
