MBP is seeking an Environmental Compliance Inspector to support Western Virginia projects near Roanoke. You will inspect construction activities, identify noncompliance related to erosion & sediment control (ESC) and storm water management (SWM), and report findings to project teams.
In this role you’ll work in the field, interpret applicable regulations, provide guidance to contractors, and maintain records.

Are you experienced with Virginia ESC and SWM inspections and ready to independently recognize and report environmental noncompliance on active construction sites?
Inspect construction activities during all project phases across Western Virginia near Roanoke, Martinsville, and Danville and recognize and report noncompliance related to erosion & sediment control (ESC) and storm water management (SWM). Provide guidance during inspections while fostering a partnering relationship with contractors and stakeholders. Work independently in the field and interpret applicable regulatory requirements when communicating observations.

Status: Full-time. The base hourly rate for this position is $29.00 to $35.50. Actual compensation will be determined based on work location, qualifications, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
