Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Agricultural Environmental Services, invites applications for an Environmental Inspector position. Successful candidates will conduct mosquito control inspections, prepare reports, and may respond to incidents requiring rapid field presence.

Formación

• Requires two years of experience in environmental protection, regulation, or health.
• Bachelor's degree plus six months of related experience acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and conduct inspections and collect samples to verify compliance with Florida code and rules.
• Conduct investigations in response to reports, complaints, or violations and summarize evidence.
• Prepare and submit written and electronic reports in a timely manner according to policy.
• Issue corrective notices as necessary in accordance with department policy.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations and read pesticide labels.
