Key qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in environmental protection, health, physical/natural sciences, or engineering
• OR 1.5 years of experience as an Environmental Specialist I or higher with Florida state government
• OR bachelor's degree or higher plus 6 months of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Must pass food establishment inspection training and certification within 12 months of appointment per Rule 5K-4.021, Florida Administrative Code
