Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Environmental Requirements Specialist to support the Waste Treatment Plant project at the Hanford site. This role focuses on managing environmental requirements, coordinating with regulators, and supporting inspections within the Direct Feed Low-Activity Waste configuration.

Responsibilities include tracking open corrective actions, reviewing technical documents, and producing regulatory reports.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering or science field; 8 years environmental experience or 12 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience interpreting environmental requirements; reviewing technical documents for environmental impacts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with regulatory agencies; working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of environmental requirements within LAW-RAEV area.
• Support regulatory inspections at WTP and assist Environmental Inspection Coordinator with docs and scheduling.
• Manage and track open CRs, actions and due dates; attend CAMP meetings as needed.
• Review technical project documents for alignment with environmental requirements; resolve conflicts with document contacts.
• Develop regulatory reports and official written communications for transmittal.
• Generate or update WTCC Environmental procedures and program documents as assigned.
