Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an Environmental Compliance Field Inspector for the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), a landmark program along the Northeast Corridor. You will perform environmental inspections, plan reviews, and field oversight to support compliance across pre-, during, and post-construction activities.

Applicants should have a relevant Bachelor's degree, NEPA/permitting experience, strong writing skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Environmental field required or related discipline.
• Experience with NEPA documentation, permitting, and impact analysis.
• Experience on federal facilities, infrastructure, construction, or remediation projects.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites for field work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance inspections and field audits.
• Review Environmental Protection Plans and permits for FEIS/ROD compliance.
• Monitor construction activities, track schedules and permits.
• Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation, and metrics.
• Identify violations and support corrective action development.
• Coordinate with agencies and project teams throughout lifecycle.
• Provide regulatory guidance on environmental requirements.
