Job summary

Belshire is seeking an Administrative & Environmental Compliance Specialist to support regulatory environmental compliance programs related to underground storage tank facilities. The role blends office data-entry with on-site inspections, primarily in California, with company-paid training to obtain California UST System Operator Certification.

You will perform online submissions in CERS, draft HM Plans, map facilities, and coordinate with agencies and clients.

• Office and field work in a 80/20 split; one day per week in the field.
• Ability to pass California UST System Operator Certification after training.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and agency submissions for CERS.
• Prepare HM Business Plans and UST documents.
• Draft facility maps and verify field data.
• Update compliance reports in mass edits.
• Communicate with regulators and clients.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Conduct regulatory inspections at UST/AST sites.
• Explain compliance requirements to clients.
• Provide annual safety/compliance training.
• Complete state inspection forms.
• Support audits as required.
• Work independently and in teams.
• Perform safety checks on field equipment and vehicles.
