Job summary

Cement Recruiter is seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer for a manufacturing facility in the United States. The role focuses on permit compliance, inspections, reporting, and regulatory liaison with agencies like EPA and state environmental programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related science is required.
At least 3 years of regulatory or industrial environmental experience.
Knowledge of CAA, CWA, Title V and RCRA regulations.
Familiarity with cement manufacturing and regulatory impact on operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Perform routine environmental sampling, inspections, and maintain records.
Prepare and submit monthly compliance reports and annual operating plans.
Ensure environmental permits/certificates are renewed timely and updated.
Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies during site inspections.
Stay informed on environmental regulatory changes and communicate them internally.
Provide training for the environmental program and coordinate the environmental team.
