Job summary

Stantec is seeking a part-time/flexible Environmental Compliance Specialist in any US office. The role involves traveling 85%+ of the time and working with an interdisciplinary team to audit facilities across the United States.

The position requires a BA/BS in environmental science or related field, plus 3–5 years of audit experience and relevant certifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, and a 401(k) program. This is a part-time schedule with on-site locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and programs.
• Experience with audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental compliance consulting to government and commercial clients.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to provide audits across the U.S.
• Audit diverse facilities for conformance to regulatory standards.
• Act independently and as part of a multi-media audit team to ensure compliance.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
