Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist I to join the wet chemistry department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will oversee projects and perform analysis on air, water, and soil samples in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to standard chemistry policies. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or related field.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, standing for long periods.
• Wear PPE and follow lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the analysis, administration and oversight of air, water and soil samples.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate instruments.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation on all laboratory work.
