Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Scientist 1 for our Fairfield, NJ environmental testing laboratory. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with compensation at $21.00 per hour.

The position involves hands-on analysis of air, water and soil, instrument operation, and maintaining high-quality laboratory records. Training is provided, with PPE and safety protocols in place to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field; training provided.
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and odors.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret analytical results.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain lab records.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
