Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2+ years lab experience; or 6+ years lab experience with no degree; 24 chemistry credits.
• At least 2 years of experience with ICP-OES and ICP-MS.
• Ability to interpret data and prepare reports; peer review and QA involvement.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines; work with delicate lab equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication; adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Record observations and data; interpret results; maintain SOPs and logs.
• Support QA and peer reviews; maintain equipment records.
