Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking experienced drivers for a full-time, 100% travel role to serve customer locations across the region. The position involves packing, transporting, and disposing of waste in compliance with DOT and EPA regulations.

The role requires a CDL Class B license, DOT hazmat endorsement, and strong safety and customer-service mindset. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a 5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class B license required.
• DOT HAZMAT endorsement and MEC awareness desired.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local rules.
• Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers for shipment.
• Conduct lab pack operations and prepare waste containers for shipment.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain professional contact with customers and coordinate with client locations.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Process manifests, bills of lading and LDRs for hazardous waste shipments.
• Perform warehouse duties related to receipt and shipment of materials.
• Operate hand truck, drum dolly, pallet jack and forklift.
• Keep vehicle and equipment clean and functional.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
