Fund for the Public Interest is hiring Canvass Directors to lead door‑to‑door outreach, educate the public, and build enduring support for environmental campaigns. You will manage a team, train staff, and drive fundraising efforts to advance critical environmental and public-interest goals.

Positions start immediately or later in the year, with training and ongoing staff development to enhance leadership and campaign strategy skills. Willingness to relocate or travel for placements is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and potential to manage people.
• Excellent communication skills for one-on-one conversations and public outreach.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and meet staffing and fieldwork goals.
