Job summary

Fund for the Public Interest in the United States is hiring Canvass Directors to build people power through face-to-face conversations on environmental campaigns, including protecting wildlife, reducing plastic waste, and clean air and water.

You will recruit, train and manage a team, educate the public, fundraise for nonprofit groups, and work where you’re needed most across multiple campaigns nationwide; positions start immediately and are geographically flexible.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and potential to guide teams and campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills for public outreach and fundraising.
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Educate and engage the public on campaigns like protecting forests and wildlife.
