Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Pasadena, TX seeks a Bacteriology Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples, enter data in the LIMS and support QA processes. The role includes workload planning, data reviews and ensuring timely reports to clients.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM. Hourly compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus benefits, PTO and a 401K match. Candidates living within commutable distance are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in a closely related science.
• 1-2 years work laboratory experience.
• Environmental methodologies.
• General regulatory requirements.
• Analytical laboratory techniques.
• Laboratory QA requirements.
• Knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Analyze reference materials, proficiency samples and QC samples as needed.
• Maintain client service and provide technical support as needed.
• Assist QA manager in QA processes and data collection.
• Coordinate and manage projects according to rush status and due times.
• Train new analysts in mycology, bacteriology, asbestos or other tests.
