Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Bacteriology Analyst for our Pasadena, TX site. The role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples, entering data into the LIMS, and performing QA checks to ensure accuracy.

You will coordinate workloads, support client service, and help maintain QA documentation. Required are a BS in a related science and 1–2 years of lab experience, with familiarity in regulatory and QA practices.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in a closely related science.
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with environmental methodologies.
• Knowledge of general regulatory requirements.
• Experience with analytical laboratory techniques.
• Understanding of laboratory QA requirements.
• Familiarity with computers, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Analyze reference materials and QA samples as needed.
• Maintain client service and provide technical support.
• Assist QA manager in developing and implementing QA processes.
• Coordinate and manage projects according to rush status and due dates.
• Maintain and update Training and QA documents onsite.
