Job summary

Norton Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Associate to maintain a clean, sanitary hospital environment in Louisville, Kentucky. You will clean and disinfect a variety of areas including patient rooms, restrooms, and office suites, following established infection control practices.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to interact appropriately with patients and families across all ages. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings.
• Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
