Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Associate to perform cleaning and disinfection across hospital areas, patient rooms, restrooms, and administrative spaces within medical offices. You will help maintain a sanitary, orderly environment while adhering to age-appropriate care standards for patients from newborns to seniors.

No experience is required as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred to start in this entry-level role.

Responsibilities

As an Environmental Associate, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following for your assigned area: Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings. Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
