Norton Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Associate to help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment across patient areas, rooms, restrooms, and office suites. You will perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation to support high-quality patient care.

This entry-level role requires no experience; on-the-job training is provided. You will work with a team to uphold Norton’s standards for cleanliness and infection prevention while serving diverse ages from newborns to seniors.

Responsibilities

As an Environmental Associate, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following for your assigned area: Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings. Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
