Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Environmental Services worker responsible for keeping patient rooms, restrooms and common areas clean and sanitary. You will follow established policies to maintain a safe environment across patient and non-patient units and perform janitorial tasks accordingly.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferably 1 year in healthcare housekeeping or floor maintenance with commercial equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience in a recent housekeeping or environmental services role preferred.
• 1 year experience working in a health care environment preferred.
• 1 year experience in floor maintenance utilizing commercial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility in a clean and sanitary condition following established policies and procedures.
• Clean and maintains patient rooms, restrooms and common areas within healthcare facilities.

This position keeps the facility in a clean and sanitary condition following established policies and procedures. With a particular emphasis on patient and non-patient units, cleans and maintains patient rooms, restrooms and common areas within the Healthcare facilities. Perform various janitorial/environmental services necessary in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Education
