Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support water conservation activities and enforcement; ensure compliance with state and local environmental codes.
• Provide technical assistance and information to the public; supervise staff, contractors, and vendors; duties may require hours outside normal work times.

Areas of focus include coordination of the city's compliance with our Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) permit, execution of the mosquito surveillance & abatement program, participation in water conservation activities & enforcement, supporting compliance with a broad range of current state and local environmental codes, regulations and policies, and providing technical assistance and information to the public. The position also prioritizes, assigns, and evaluates the work of assigned employees, contractors, and vendors in related functional areas. Duties may occur outside of normal working hours.

Salary: $56300.52 - $84450.78 per year
