Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a linen attendant to support our hospital operations by supplying the department with clean linen and uniforms in a safe and efficient manner.

You will manage the continuous flow of soiled linen from pickup to loading dock, transport linens within the facility, and respond to linen requests as needed. Previous healthcare experience is preferred to ensure understanding of sanitation standards. This role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to safety procedures.

Job description

Education Qualifications:

The responsibility of this position is to supply department with clean linen and uniforms, in an efficient, productive, orderly, and safe manner. Provides continuous flow of soiled linen from solid linen pick-up through loading/unloading of soiled containers and transport of soiled linen to the loading dock. Also, responsible for linen transport, responding to requests for linens, as well as other duties as directed.
