Job summary

SPL is hiring an Analytical Chemist for our environmental laboratory in Round Rock, TX. You will perform EPA‑based analyses on environmental samples and support QA/QC, data review, and regulatory compliance in a fast‑paced lab.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in regulated labs, hands‑on experience with ICP‑MS, GC‑MS, GC, HPLC, and IC, and strong documentation skills to deliver quality data for environmental decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional analytical laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with analytical method development, validation, verification and implementation.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC, data review, documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on environmental and quality control samples following EPA methods and lab procedures.
• Prepare, digest, and process samples using approved methods and SOPs.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation.
• Review, interpret, validate, and document analytical data within LIMS.
