Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a full-time Analytical or Environmental Chemist to join our Duluth, GA team. The role focuses on analytical chemistry support for environmental projects, data validation, and coordination with laboratories and clients.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in EPA guidance, data quality assessment, and technical writing. Travel up to 20% may be required as projects demand across EPA Region 4.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a BS/BA in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience validating laboratory analytical data per EPA guidance.
• Experience with EPA data validation up to Stage 4 and QC/ chromatograms interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental emergency response, field investigations, and data planning/evaluation.
• Provide task and project management, including oversight of subcontract laboratories.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, data tables, figures, and cost estimates.
• Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality work.
