Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking an Abatement Technician to perform environmental remediation and abatement services, ensure quality and safety on job sites, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict safety protocols and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with physical labor (lifting 50+ lbs).
• Able to work in PPE and controlled environments.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team player with strong work ethic.
• Abatement certifications preferred (asbestos/lead/mold), but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform abatement and remediation work (asbestos, mold, lead, biohazard as applicable)
• Set up containment areas and negative air systems
• Remove hazardous materials safely following protocols
• Wear and maintain PPE (respirators, suits, etc.)
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
• Document jobs with photos, notes, and compliance logs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
